Hey everybody, welcome to my blu-ray channel, today I'm gonna show you another wicked 3D Steelbook film from Marvel Studios called Captain America blu-ray 3D the First Avenger, 3-disc combo, bluray3D, blu-ray, and dvd with digital copy, packing a walloping punch backed up by behind-the-scenes featurettes and a full look at the second Agent Coulson-starring Marvel One-Shot, titled "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer." So lets take an up-close closer look at this fantastic and awesome superhero film from Marvel comics. Both blu-rays are region FREE. DVD is region 2. Presented in HD 1080p high definition. Also comes with the new trailer for the Avengers. In the trailer, we see quick glimpses of Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) working out his time displaced frustration on a boxing bag; Natasha Romanoff, better known by her code name Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), looking pensive as she sits gathered around a table wearing her finest S.H.I.E.L.D. regalia; Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) taking aim at someone — or something — off screen; and Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, sitting in the cockpit of an aircraft that may or may not be a Quinjet. Probably one of the best steelbooks i've seen!

Captain America: The First Avenger is a 2011 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character Captain America. The film is directed by Joe Johnston, and stars Chris Evans as Captain America. The film is the fifth installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Directors Jon Favreau and Louis Leterrier were considered to direct the project before Johnston was approached in 2008. Production of Captain America: The First Avenger began in June 2010 and filming took place in London, Manchester and Liverpool in the United Kingdom, and Los Angeles in the United States. The film was converted to 3D in post-production.

In 1942, Steve Rogers is deemed physically unfit to enlist in the U.S. Army and fight the Nazis in World War II. Volunteering instead for Project: Rebirth, a secret military operation, he is physically transformed into a super-soldier dubbed Captain America. With sidekick Bucky Barnes he fights the Red Skull (Hugo Weaving), Hitler's treacherous head of advanced weaponry, whose own plan for world domination involves a seemingly magical object known as the Tesseract.

The Avengers is an upcoming superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, based upon the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It is part of the Marvel Universe, which crosses over several Marvel superhero films including Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger (2011). The film is written and directed by Joss Whedon and features an ensemble cast, which includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo and Cobie Smulders. The Avengers tells the story of Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D., who recruits Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America to save the world from destruction. The Avengers is scheduled to be released in 2012 along with The Dark Knight rise by Christopher Nolan.

Hey guys, welcome to my steelbook collection and yet to another blu-ray update of the week, I guess I am addicted to steelbooks! This week is steelbook madness with the canadian release of the Peyo film The Smurfs in a 3-disc combo, blu-ray region free, dvd of the film and dvd with the Christmas Carol short. So lets take an up-close closer look at this fantastic release. Image quality is fantastic and surely deserves 10 stars for audio and video, transfer is spectacular. Colors are bold and brilliant, black levels are deep and inky, contrast is impeccable! Great movie with Neil Patrick Harris, Hank Azaria, Jayma Mays, and Sofía Vergara. Fantastic movie and great box office success, with a budget of $110 million, they movie has made so far without any dvd or blu-ray sales almost $600 millions!!!

The Smurfs Movie is a 2011 American 3D family film based on The Smurfs comic book series created by Peyo and the 1980s animated TV series it spawned. It was directed by Raja Gosnell and stars Neil Patrick Harris, Hank Azaria, Jayma Mays, and Sofía Vergara. It is the first CGI live-action hybrid film to be produced by Sony Pictures Animation and in The Smurfs trilogy. The film tells the story of the Smurfs as they got lost in New York, and try to find a way to get back home before Gargamel catches them. On August 9, 2011, Sony Pictures Animation announced a sequel to be released on 2013. The Smurfs characters appearing in the original comics series by Peyo, the Hanna-Barbera cartoon series is from the 1980s



The Smurfs get ready for the Blue Moon Festival. In his home, Papa Smurf sees a vision of the Smurfs in cages, Clumsy Smurf holding a dragon wand, and Gargamel being powerful. He refuses to allow Clumsy to pick Smurf Roots, but Clumsy disobeys Papa Smurf and does it anyway. However, Gargamel and Azrael see him and follow him into the village. The Smurfs all flee, and Clumsy runs into a forbidden cave. Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Grouchy, Brainy and Gutsy notice this and hurry after him. They find him at the edge of a cliff, and while trying to help him up, they are sucked into a gigantic vortex, leading to New York City.

Super 8 is a 2011 American science fiction action film written and directed by J. J. Abrams and produced by Steven Spielberg. The Hangover Part II is a 2011 American comedy film produced by Legendary Pictures and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures, and a sequel to 2009's The Hangover. Cowboys and Aliens blu ray unboxing review - The Help blu-ray

For our blu-ray update of the week I bring to you two new releases: The Help blu-ray 2-disc and Cowboys and Aliens blu-ray also 2-disc. So lets take an u-close closer look at these newly released titles. Both movies are region free. Both movies only have 2-disc blu-ray with dvd. Cowboys and Aliens blu-ray also have downloadable digital copy to ultraviolet AND iTunes. Cowboys and Aliens blu-ray also comes with 2 cuts: theatrical and extended edition. The Help won several awards and was a major. The Help was a major box office success grossing more than $200 million with no blu-ray/dvd sales yet against $25 million budget. But cowboys and aliens failed big time, and was a major financial disappointment barely grossing more than its budget, earning an estimated $175 million worldwide.

Cowboys & Aliens is a 2011 American science fiction Western film directed by Jon Favreau and starring Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Olivia Wilde. The film is based on the 2006 graphic novel of the same name created by Scott Mitchell Rosenberg. The main plot revolves around an amnesiac outlaw (Craig), a wealthy cattleman (Ford), and a mysterious traveler (Wilde) who must ally to save a group of townspeople abducted by aliens. The film was produced by Ron Howard, with Steven Spielberg serving as executive producer. Major flop of 2011 barely grossing its budget.

The Help is a 2011 comedy drama film adaptation of Kathryn Stockett's novel of the same name. The film is about a young white woman, Eugenia "Skeeter" Phelan, and her relationship with two black maids during Civil Rights era America in the early 1960s. Skeeter is a journalist who decides to write a controversial book from the point of view of the maids (known as the Help), exposing the racism they are faced with as they work for white families. The film takes place in Jackson, Mississippi, and stars Emma Stone, Viola Davis, Octavia Spencer, Bryce Dallas Howard, Jessica Chastain, Sissy Spacek, Mike Vogel, Mary Steenburgen, and Allison Janney. The Help opened to positive reviews and became a box office success with gross of $198.8 million against its budget of $25 million.
