Hello youtube, this chrome blue Lightning McQueen was issued by Disney Home Entertainment and produced by Mattel exclusively for Disney Rewards Members to commemorate the release of Cars on Blu-Ray Disc. Very limited production not available in stores anywhere! This is a 1:55 scale die-cast original from Mattel. Last November, 2007 -- to commemorate the Blu-ray DVD release of CARS, Disney & Mattel offered a Blue metallic Ransburg McQueen free with every purchase. Inside the DVD was a sheet with the code -- enter in at the website Disneyrewards before the redemption period -- send in $3.79 and after a few weeks later, a "free" Ransburg blue Saetta McQueen was yours. The redemption period ended January 31, 2008. Radiator Springs was founded by a steam car named Stanley in 1909, and a statue of him is outside the town courthouse. Later, Stanley married Lizzie. After Stanley died, more people came to live in Radiator Springs. However, in the the early 1960's, Interstate 40 was built near Radiator Springs. In 2006, famous racer Lightning McQueen destroyed the town's main road in a hurry to get to a Piston Cup race in Los Angeles, and was arrested for 5 days to fix the road. The "Piston Cup 500" was a Piston Cup race held in the summer of 2006 in Cars. It began at the Motor Speedway of the South, where The King, Chick Hicks, and Lightning McQueen tied three-way. A tiebreaker 200-lap race was held a week later, at the Los Angeles International Speedway. A total of 36 racers competed in the series and 3 tracks are known.
